Set yourself up for success

Coaching helps leaders slow down to speed up
We coach mid-senior level leaders who need support to shift to the next level or deal with a challenging situation. Coaching gives you space, accountability, and a trusted advisor you can talk to in confidence.
Our goal is to help you become crystal clear on where you’re heading and confident in your way forward. We help you step back, examine your understanding of the situation, and decide on the best approach to take.
Often we do executive coaching for businesses we’re already working with on team development, leadership development, or organisational development assignments. Previous engagements are helpful because they give us a good understanding of the system in which you operate. When we don’t have this previous experience, we like to get a solid understanding of the system you are operating in first.
Executive coaching gives clarity and confidence
Lead Change
Leading transformational change can be daunting. Where should you start and how do you get your team onboard? We can help you lead change confidently.
Step Up
Set new leaders up for success by giving them the support they need to make the transition and effectively lead their team. We help new leaders prepare for the demands of their new role.
Prevent Burn-out
Leaders roles are challenging and at times, lonely. It’s important to bolster their resilience behind the scenes. Coaching psychology can assist leaders to perform, excel and lead their teams in a sustainable way.
Face Challenges
When leaders feel uncertain and not sure what to do, we offer a safe sounding board to explore the situation, their options, and enable clarity on the next steps.

Executive coaching process
-
We start with a free consultation to define your goals and see if we’re the right fit. We’ll talk about what you want to achieve with coaching and outline our approach. If you or we don’t feel we’re the right fit, we have a broad network of coaches, psychologists and counsellors who we could refer you onto.
Once we agree we want to move forward, typically we partner with you for four to six sessions.
-
Coaching starts with understanding your context along with your personal values, motivations and preferred behavioural style. We often use psychometrics to inform this discussion, and 360-degree appraisals or best self-feedback, to uncover how others view your approach.
In most coaching situations, we’re engaged by your organisation. Often we’ll meet with your leader as well to gather their observations on your situation and in that meeting we’ll be very clear about confidentiality boundaries.
-
Breaking your challenge down into bite-sized chunks, we will address your goals over each session, so you build on the progress you make.
Our coaching approach is matched to your needs inline with a coaching psychology philosophy. Options include, behavioural based coaching, transformative coaching, solutions-focussed coaching, and the integration of positive psychology concepts, motivational interviewing, acceptance and commitment therapy, or schema therapy techniques where relevant.
We explain the approach we’d like to take, along with our rationale and check you’re comfortable with that. This psychological approach differs to many business coaches.
Mentoring
We also offer a combination of coaching and mentoring for people and culture leaders or consultants. Our expertise in this area makes us a rich mentoring resource.
Confidentiality
Nothing is disclosed to your leader without your permission, but we encourage you to keep your leader updated on progress in your sessions. In coaching conversations, we may identify opportunities for your leader to support you more effectively. If that’s the case, we may ask your permission to meet with them and discuss that on your behalf.
